The company is founded and managed by Gabriel Mwakalukwa, a Tanzanian who has been working more than ten years in the safari and tourism industry in Tanzania.

Our aim is to provide high quality safaris and to make our clients feel comfortable with the service we are offering.

We are located in the city center of Dar es Salaam, the clients are always welcome to visit us and to have a talk about the tours or safaris. Please contact us for more information.

Social profile

Von der Decken Safaris has a strong social profile. We are aware that a lot of people are living in poverty in our country. This is why we have decided to donate some of our profit to development work. 5% of the annual profit will be donated to Faraja Home, a centre for disabled children close to Moshi in the northern part of the country.
